Sanitation & Health

About Us

The proposed project intends to develop educational tools for improved health and sanitation among adolescents living in low-income families in developing countries. The "sanitary kit" includes period pads, sanitary napkins, toothbrush, toothpaste, a sticker, and an educational brochure.  The brochure is divided into two sections: Sanitation and Family Health. The brochure explains basic knowledge about how to keep healthy and come into adulthood.

Alice Jaewon Lee

Research Team/Web Designer

Alice is a rising junior at Yonsei University. Currently, she is studying International Studies and Economics. Her passions and interest lie in protecting human rights especially for children living in developing countries.

By joining a student-led academia, the Social Innovation Creators' Academia, she learned more about the various environmental, humanitarian, and financial problems around the world and attempted to solve one lingering issue in the hidden villages of South Korea: period poverty. She still continues to fight for every child's rights to living a healthy life filled with opportunities to learn and pursue his or her dreams throughout this project.

Jungsoo Kim

Research team/Web designer

Jungsoo is a rising senior student attending Yonsei University, studying Science, Technology, and Policy and Quantitative Risk Management. She had joined a range of activities such as  Green Growth supporters and Dreamclass mentoring programs, which show her passion in both global and education issues. Although she plays a role of illustrator in the project, she has great interest in accomplishing universal health coverage, so-called UHC and various public health issues.

By taking part in this Kit for Love project, she realized how to approach to public health education in ingenuous way and came to hope to contribute to the better recognition of sanitary and family health among students in developing countries.

We believe all boys and girls have the right to education and the potential to change the world for the better.

Our Mission

We strive to empower every boy and girl to lead healthy and happy lives by providing professional education and the resources to do so. No child should be left behind just because of his or her background, race, nor gender.

Our Mission
